The arson started here at loading.
A quadrangle built-up farm outside Kivik, on the slopes above Hanö Bay, was completely burned down this Sunday morning. It had happened after a break-in early in the morning. The fire was clearly planned, not the work of chance.
The background was that Lindblom's Frö had the largest range of organically grown seed in Northern Europe. The range consisted of increasingly NEW refined. Had gradually gathered an interesting assortment. Most of this was open pollinated. Larger share than with other Swedish seed companies. Well-controlled and uniform open-pollinated varieties are highly sustainable as they can be propagated by growers themselves if necessary. It's not about cheap varieties for the hobby market. They were varieties that a lot of work was put into for uniformity. But it is hybrids that Swedish organic growers want. Growers refused to test open pollinated to be able to live with the prejudice of how bad open pollinated is.
Swedish organic growers wanted hybrids wherever possible. Swedish growers are also not interested in growing their own seed. The fact that the price is also higher for organically grown was not accepted by Swedish larger organic growers either. This is in contrast to the rest of Europe. Lindbloms had a farm here for testing new varieties, knowledge of the varieties was good. Had also acquired a place in Småland for this testing. For 10 years, the Swedish Agency for Agriculture had maneuvered so that Swedish organic growers would not have to use organic seed. At the meeting 15.11-19, however, it was clear that it would be difficult to continue like this, EU rules would now require that organically grown seed should really be used.
The problem was that Lindblom's Frö existed at all. After all, the Swedish Agricultural Agency had wanted as little supply of organically grown seed as possible, so you could say it was completely insufficient. That was claimed even when there were 10-15 eco-varieties of one type of plant, such as lettuce, peppers and tomato. Lindblom's Frö did not fit into the authority's template, where only a few eco-varieties would exist to claim that they had invested in organic. And the agency was fully supported by large growers who wanted the cheaper conventional seed. Although seeds were not really expensive, then this desire made to be forced to have a lower price than really reasonable. Forced myself to live frugally to keep the business going. Felt extremely important to contribute to what is happening in Europe. Lindbloms had more than 300 varieties of organic seed, mostly vegetables, spices and seed for green manure. Plus hundreds of varieties of conventional seed from other assortments, flowers, perennials etc. It was clear that if Lindbloms Frö had not existed, it would have been possible to continue to claim that the use of conventionally grown seed was necessary, as there was too little supply of organically grown seed according to the Swedish Agency for Agriculture. Now at the meeting 15.11-19 it was quite clear how troublesome the assortment that Lindbloms had. What would be the easiest way to get rid of Lindbloms? That question was obviously asked at the time. The answer was simple. The simplest solution was that Lindblom's Frö would no longer exist.
The Swedish Board of Agriculture had also determined the exemption cost to be much higher than in other countries, namely SEK 4,000. This was a method for organic seed to become completely impossible in Sweden. Two days after this finding on 17.11-19, the company burned to the ground. Someone had probably parked their car at the back of the yard early in the morning. Started by throwing a large stone at a window. It was the wrong window. Couldn't open. But a new stone was used against another window. So you could jump in. They must have been customers and knew where the best place to start a fire was. At the cargo intake on the east side. There was also the sorting of rubbish. With packaging that was easy to start a fire with. Windows could be opened, which is why cross drafts were arranged. The 600 square meter building was quickly engulfed in flames. Even a completely newly developed packaging machine fell prey to the flames. Only used for two months.
If the fire had happened a weekend earlier, I would have been there and would certainly not be alive today. Every weekend before, I had been at the company in Kivik from Friday to Sunday. I didn't have time this weekend as I was working on a catalogue. It was a coincidence that I was there.
If I had been there, I would not have lived and the case would have become a Cold Case.
To get to where the fire started, the intruders would have had to pass through where I used to sleep on the second floor. They had not accepted being stopped by me. Was alone why there had been a murder.
It was a completely unwanted case for the police to investigate, as authorities were also involved. Therefore, the case was soon written off. Declared that the case could not be brought up again.
The Swedish Agricultural Agency wanted to spread the claim that someone spontaneously came by this morning and then set out to burn down the company. It was sad, they said. But also that it was good when Lindbloms Frö prevented the Swedish Agency for Agriculture in its future plans. In order to get more people to grow organically, the requirement to use organic seed for gardening was a serious obstacle. The Swedish Board of Agriculture had plans for an ever-increasing share of organic until 30% of cultivated area.
Growers with a large area were then required, i.e. also growers who were otherwise conventionally oriented.
It was now in a hurry as the fire had to take place before the general meeting which was to take place on 20.11.
Then it was important to be able to establish that there was not enough organic seed when Lindblom's Seed would now be gone.
Sweden has a nice facade of being the world's most legally secure country.
Where the police have a very large power to write off anything unpleasant.
I presented to the police what I certainly knew about the background of the fire.
That an authority then discreetly advised that the easiest way would be the company Lindbloms Frö did not exist.
Then someone made a decision about the arson.
But also that everything would be hidden.
THE POLICE WROTE THE CASE OFF - THIS IS SWEDEN, AFTER ALL. Writing off cases is the Swedish Police's standard method of solving legal cases, when something is not wanted to be investigated.
Even when there are cases as serious as this.
HIDE, HIDE, HIDE is Sweden's favorite method among the police.
When this background became known, the Police made sure to use all their resources to hide the truth. The case was closed with no possibility of reopening.
Then came to try to bring up the case again, but Swedish Prosecutors are professional liars of the worst kind and close the case.
In Sweden, people live with the myth that corruption is only about money under the table.
But this is official corruption that is so Swedish.
The great power Swedish authorities have opens the way for official corruption that pervades the country. Any allegation of this is met with total anger, with the media also playing along.
The Swedish media is just as trained to believe that Sweden is the righteous society.
In a similar way that Russian media supports Putin.
I am still impressed by the development of organic seed breeding.
Takes all my seed from there and it's good.
Here is the only long-term sustainable future for a climate-changed country.
But in Sweden totally trashed.
Anything that has something biodynamic about it MUST GONE.
There is hardly a worse country than Sweden,
Sweden is not the country it portrays itself to be.
